De "ANTI" is ZooRacing's nieuwste 1:10 toerwagencarrosserie!
Het is ontwikkeld vanuit de ervaring met de super succesvolle WOLVERINE-carrosserie - maar met een focus op nog meer downforce en een stabielere achterkant. Belangrijke kernpunten, zoals.B de superplatte neus, de steilere motorkap en de zijruiten - zijn zorgvuldig geoptimaliseerd. Voor een soepeler weggedrag heeft de ANTI een langere bestuurderscabine en een gelijkmatigere luchtstroom achter het dak - om luchtweerstand en ongewenste turbulentie te voorkomen. Het grootste deel van de carrosserie heeft een meer driehoekig ontwerp om de luchtstroom naar achteren te verbeteren en eenvoudigweg meer downforce te genereren. De achtervleugel was gebogen en aangepast aan de lijnen van het lichaam. De geïntegreerde vinnen verbeteren de stabiliteit.
Het resultaat: minder torsie en meer contactdruk in het hogesnelheidsbereik. De bediening van de ANTI is minder agressief dan die van de WOLVERINE en zorgt over het algemeen voor meer stabiliteit. Vooral bij het uitkomen van bochten is de ANTI minder kritisch om te rijden en geeft hij meer vertrouwen bij het accelereren. Aan de bovenkant van de ANTI Highlights bevindt zich het nieuwe ZOOlite dieptrekproces, dat het totale gewicht van de 0,7 mm dikke behuizing met ongeveer 10 g vermindert.

ZooRacing ANTI 1:10 Touring Car Body - 0.7mm REGULAR

The ANTI is ZooRacing´s new high-performance touring car body. Developed from the experience with the super successful Wolverine body, but with more overall downforce and a more stable rear in mind. Key areas, like a super low nose, a steeper bonnet and arch-designed side windows, were carefully optimized. The main body has a more wedge design to improve the airflow to the rear and creates a lot more downforce. For a more fluent handling, the ANTI has a little more stretched cabin as well as a homogeneous airflow behind the roof to reduce drag and turbulences. New inverted fin design on the trunk reduces turbulences and increases static stability at the rear section, which results in a better approached flow to the new designed rear wing. The rear wing design is curved accordingly to the body lines and has a step/fin design to improve stability. The result is less flex and more downforce on high speeds.

The handling with the ANTI body is less aggressive than the Wolverine and allows a lot more overall stability. Especially at corner exits it´s less critical to drive and gives more trust and confidence when accelerating. Perfect for modified racing where downforce is needed and stock racing for all drivers who are looking for a less aggressive body than the Wolverine. On top of that all is the ZOOlite moulding process that reduces the overall weight of our standard thickness 0.7mm body shells by about 10g. This ensures the standard shells are legal for all races with minimum body weight rules, while significantly lowering the overall centre of gravity. In addition, ANTI is also available in our proven, lightweight 0.5mm variant for everyone looking for the outmost of performance.

Part of the package are also the revolutionary 2-step window masks that will ensure window frames of Pro quality. In a first step all windows are masked using the Step 1 masks. After the painting of the body is completed, the masks will be removed and replaced by the slightly smaller Step 2 masks that leave the window frames exposed and ready to be painted in your favourite colour. The result is highly precise without the need to pre-cut or in-body-cut the window masks, ensuring greater satisfaction and less chances of creating predetermined breaking points. The body package is rounded out by high-quality wing mounting hardware and a detailed sticker sheet including grille, head, and taillights.

BAYBEE 190mm touring car body shell

​

The BAYBEE body shell for 190mm touring cars is ZooRacing’s latest high performance touring car lid. It is basically an evolution of the ultra-popular DBX with a comparable roof line and design, however the slightly stretched roof reduces aerodynamic drag, resulting in higher corning speeds, something especially stock class racers will be looking for. New for the BAYBEE is also a longer and rounder front end shape for increased corner speeds under power, allowing for precise handling especially in larger corners while reducing tyre scrub at the same time which further helps to maintain high speeds and smooth cornering. All this comes without sacrificing low-speed steering with the BAYBEE offering razor-sharp steering response in technical parts of the track. Compared to the already low-profile appearance of the DBX, the BAYBEE features a once more lowered shoulder line, hood and trunk section allowing to substantially to mount the body lower on the chassis, resulting in a once more lowered overall centre of gravity.

Part of the package is also a redesigned High Efficient rear wing that is of a curved design, following the new rear end shape which results in an even more efficient air flow between body shell and wing. Other aerodynamic features include redesigned side skirts for optimised airflow and further improved stability while reinforcement ribbings on the trunk ensure best possible rigidity even under heavy loads as they occur in today’s modified class racing. Last but not least comes the realistic front end design that not only makes for a cool new look but the sculptured hood design is also meant to improve airflow and overall stability and durability of the body shell.

Hellcat 190mm touring car body shell

​

The Hellcat body shell for 190mm touring cars is ZooRacing’s fourth and latest touring car lid. The goal was to create a more efficient body with advanced aerodynamics that allow for aggressive cornering and yet a nailed rear end. This was achieved by using a long front section with splitter that sits 10mm further forward while a round-shaped outer line – when viewed from the top – ensures a smoother transition when changing directions as the air flows smoothly and constantly over the front splitter, fenders and grille.

​

In addition to the splitter the windshield and cabin also sit 10mm further forward with the whole section being shaped like a drop for maximised rear grip and stability thanks to optimised airflow towards the rear wing. Smooth transitions from the hood over the cabin towards the rear lid ensure optimised aerodynamic efficiency and thus less turbulences and drag, which leads to equal front-to-rear balance at both low and high speeds. In addition a low-profile trunk section with a slightly upwards bending trunk lid further improves downforce as does the curved shape, that optimises aerodynamics in combination with the included curved rear wing. The fine-tuned shape of the wing – it is curved in two dimensions, bending up- and rearwards – increases its overall surface for maximised rear traction. As usual the body is outfitted with several trick anti-tuck features such as structured side skirts which add to the overall aerodynamics and looks while greatly preventing body tucks without the need for additional reinforcements.

Other hot features include large wheel arches that allow the body to be placed up to 4mm to the front for increased steering reaction or up to 4mm to the back for increased rear stability – making it 8mm in total. All this can be done without having to fear tyre rubs or unsightly cut out wheel wells. The body, designed using the latest CAD techniques also features a 100mm grid for the rear body mounts, ensuring highly precise body placement and mounting.

The Hellcat 190mm body shell comes moulded from high-quality polycarbonate and it is available in two thicknesses: a lightweight 0.5mm variant that will weigh in at around 55g cut and including wing while the standard thickness 0.7mm variant will come out at around 83g cut and including wing - meaning the latter will easily make the new ETS weight rule.

The Preopard body shell for 190mm touring cars is ZooRacing’s second touring car body shell following the ZooZilla body. Developed to produce high overall downforce with a focus on increased overall steering while maintaining exceptional rear end stability the specialised body is the ideal choice for tight and twitchy low to medium traction carpet and outdoor tracks. The shell features several aero features such as a recessed roof section that channels the airflow towards the rear wing for great rear end stability at both low and high speeds while the forward placed cabin and the specially shaped front end produce more steering compared to the ZooZilla as well as greater rotation in corners for greater corner speeds and a more nimble handling.

ZooRacing 3-piece 190mm Touring Car Wing Set

 

ZooRacing have announced the release of their new 3-piece wing set that includes three different design wings to fine-tune the aerodynamics of most of today’s 1/10th scale 190mm touring car bodies. Included are the wing of the ultra-popular DBX/PreoPard/ZooZilla series, the highly-curved HellCat rear wing as well as the new BayBee rear wing, all moulded from high-quality polycarbonate.

 

Also included are a total of six polycarbonate endplates. Using the set comes in handy especially when running ZooRacing’s ultra lightweight 0.5mm bodies that greatly profit from the tougher and less flexible rear wings as they improve overall downforce without adding too much weight. In addition the different shapes of the wings allow to fine-tune the aerodynamic balance if conditions call for it.

 

The wing set is usable with all 190mm touring cars that use a 100mm wing post spacing – being it originals or rip-offs.

WOLVERINE MAX is ZooRacing’s newest high-performance body on the market. It’s been designed with the newest insights in mind to make WOLVERINE MAX even faster on every track, compared to its predecessors. Lots of new features improved the handling, making it more dynamic. More contact pressure offers more stability in corners with lots more rotation. The aerodynamic efficiency has been improved again as well.
For this purpose, ZooRacing advanced lots of areas of WOLVERINE MAX noticeable. The overall length has been shortened to achieve a lesser inertia and therefore a better rotation around the vertical axis. For more steering in fast corners, they redesigned the front and hood and made them steeper. To easier steer the airflow along the sides over the rear wheel arches to the rear wing, to create more downforce, they have tailored WOLVERINE MAX’s sides a lot. The rear is designed very even and uniform for a low centre of gravity and to ensure an easy airflow to the wing. For a consistent flow ZooRacing remodelled the rear fenders to minimize turbulences at the rear of the body.
For a better aerodynamic efficiency, they elongated the roof of WOLVERINE MAX. For the first time the windows at the side have an arch build in, to even out the pressure ratio of the airflow. With the rear wing, ZooRacing included a known one, the HELLCAT wing, and improved it even further. The wing is known for its bowed form, which fits perfectly on the bodies rear and has an extreme impact. For more structural stability and more downforce on fast tracks there is a highly efficient reinforcement rib included.
Especially the 0,5mm ultralight version needs a high rigidity. To achieve that, they created many new features. ZooRacing redesigned the area in front of the window shield to create more stiffness. The front fenders got a unique structure build in to prevent deflection at high speeds and accomplish overall more efficiency.

For a better aerodynamic efficiency, they elongated the roof of WOLVERINE MAX. For the first time the windows at the side have an arch build in, to even out the pressure ratio of the airflow. With the rear wing, ZooRacing included a known one, the HELLCAT wing, and improved it even further. The wing is known for its bowed form, which fits perfectly on the bodies rear and has an extreme impact. For more structural stability and more downforce on fast tracks there is a highly efficient reinforcement rib included.
Especially the 0,5mm ultralight version needs a high rigidity. To achieve that, they created many new features. ZooRacing redesigned the area in front of the window shield to create more stiffness. The front fenders got a unique structure build in to prevent deflection at high speeds and accomplish overall more efficiency.
On top of that all is the ZOOlite moulding process that reduces the overall weight of the standard thickness 0.7mm body shells by about 10g. This ensures the standard shells are legal for all races with minimum body weight rules while significantly lowering the overall centre of gravity. In addition, WOLVERINE MAX is also available in the race proven, lightweight 0.5mm variant for everyone looking for the outmost of performance.
Part of the package are also the revolutionary 2-step window masks that will ensure window frames of Pro quality. In a first step all windows are masked using the Step 1 masks. After the painting of the body is completed, the masks will be removed and replaced by the slightly smaller Step 2 masks that leave the window frames exposed and ready to be painted in your favourite colour. The result is highly precise without the need to pre-cut or in-body-cut the window masks, ensuring greater satisfaction and less chances of creating predetermined breaking points. The body package is rounded out by high-quality wing mounting hardware and a detailed sticker sheet including grille, head and taillights.

The ZooZilla body shell for 190mm touring cars is ZooRacing’s first ever touring car body shell. Developed to produce medium overall downforce with lots of steering and great rear end stability the all-round body is the ideal choice for both carpet and outdoor tracks. The shell sports a couple of aero features such as a steep front end for on-the-point steering precision while the recessed roof section channels the airflow towards the rear wing for exceptional rear end stability at both low and high speeds. Angled vortex generators, placed strategically above the rear window, are a first-ever for an electric touring car body, and they help to smooth the airflow over the rear window, trunk and rear wing for greatly improved aerodynamic efficiency, lower drag and more predictable rear downforce.

The body is outfitted with several trick anti-tuck features such as structured side skirts and a clever rear end design including reinforcement ribs on the trunk lid, all of which add to the overall aerodynamics and looks while greatly preventing body tucks without the need for additional reinforcements. Adding to the whole package is the recessed roof section that not only adds visual impact but also greatly improves overall stability – something that comes in handy especially when running the body in ultra lightweight configuration.

Other hot features include large wheel arches that allow the body to be placed up to 4mm to the front for increased steering reaction or up to 4mm to the back for increased rear stability – making it 8mm in total. All this can be done without having to fear tyre rubs or unsightly cut out wheel wells. The body, designed using the latest CAD techniques also features a 100mm grid for the rear body mounts, ensuring highly precise body placement and mounting.

The ZooZilla 190mm body shell comes moulded from high-quality polycarbonate and it is available in two thicknesses: a lightweight 0.5mm variant that will weigh in at 55g cut and including wing while the standard thickness 0.7mm variant will come out at 83g cut and including wing - meaning the latter will easily make the new 90g ETS rule.
